Lady Bucks Season Ends in First Round
The Motlow Lady Bucks (4-21, 3-15) saw their 2009-2010 season come to a disappointing close when they dropped a 44-43 decision to Jackson St. during the first round of the TCCAA/Region VII Tournament. Crystal Moore led the Lady Bucks with 15 points and 14 rebounds.

Lady Bucks Open Tournament Wednesday
The Motlow Lady Bucks (4-20, 3-15) will attempt to play their way into the full TCCAA/Region VII Tournament when they face Jackson St. on Wednesday, Mar. 3 at 8pm. The tournament is being played at Columbia St. in Columbia, TN.
The women's tournament opens at 6pm Wednesday when the host team Columbia St. takes on Dyersburg St. in the other play-in contest. The first full day of tournament action for the women is Friday, Mar. 5.
If the Lady Bucks can get past Jackson St. they will go up against the tournament favorite and top seed Walters St., ranked 18th in the nation in the latest NJCAA poll, at 8pm on Friday.
The Dyersburg/Columbia winner will face Volunteer St. Friday at 2pm, with Cleveland St. and Chattanooga St. squaring off at 4pm. Southwest Tennessee faces Roane St. Friday at 8pm following the Motlow/Jackson winner and Walters St.
The championship game is scheduled for Sunday, Mar. 7 at 4pm. The Region VII Tournament winner qualifies for the NJCAA Tournament in Saline, KS, which begins Mar. 16.
