Lady Bucks Winning Streak at Eight
The Motlow Lady Bucks (11-6, 0-0) continued their march towards the opening of TCCAA conference play with a 9-6, 8-0 sweep of Joliet College, IL on Tuesday, Mar. 16 at Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro, TN.
The Lady Bucks are scheduled to host Joliet on the main Motlow campus in Moore Co. on Thursday, Mar. 18 for a doubleheader, with the first pitch scheduled for 2pm.
Conference play begins the next day, with first a stop in Dyersburg for a twinbill with Dyersburg St. on Friday, Mar. 19, then Motlow heads to Memphis to face Southwest Tennessee on Saturday, Mar. 20.

Lady Bucks Dominate Shawnee St.
The Motlow Lady Bucks (9-6, 0-0) have now won six consecutive contests following an 8-0, 9-1 sweep of Shawnee St. IL on Thursday, Mar. 11 at Volunteer State's field in Gallatin, TN.
Motlow's scheduled doubleheader against Snead St. on Monday, Mar. 15 has been postponed due to inclement weather. The Lady Bucks will face Joliet College, IL on Tuesday, Mar. 16 at 2pm at Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro, TN.
In Thursday's opener the Lady Bucks got a tremendous pitching performance from freshman Kristin Swan, who allowed only four hits and one walk to raise her record to 3-1. Kristin Bunch homered and drove in three runs, while Shelby Davis drove in two with a double.
Falon Catalano (4-1) matched Swan's performance on the hill in game two, allowing four hits and a run while notching six strikouts. Lindsay Bobrowski was 2-4 with two RBIs, Renea Shirley was also 2-3 and drove in two, Kelsey Woodruff was 2-3 and drove in a run, and Davis and Swan each had an RBI.
